Cheque Printing and MICR- encoding

Protection Against Counterfeiting & Fraud

All cheques produced by Moore whether they be continuous feed forms, cut sheet laser forms, or books, are all MICR encoded to APCA standards.

The traditional cheque printing process is now integrated with specialized digital printing technology that allow us to MICR encode, number, and personalise cheques forms and books on the fly.

Moore utilize finger-print I.D. scanning technology to limit, monitor and control access to our security printing department.  Only authorized employees with security clearance are permitted to enter this area and this technology makes sure of it, helping to ensure the protection of your data and documents whilst in the care of Moore.

Mooreguard security pantographs offer a very effective deterrent when used as a background for cheques, share certificates, etc. Moore can design unique “lock and Key” security backgrounds customized for your organization, adding even greater security that is extremely difficult even for well equipped, experienced printers to emulate.

Moore can offer unique features such as blind embossing of you logo into the paper whilst in production to provide a validation feature that can be identified by sight and touch. This feature is now being used by Moore in the production of cheque books and also concert tickets.
